CHRISTMAS RECEPTION 2007

Consulate of the Republic of Croatia to Canada

The Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia in Mississauga hosted the annual Christmas Reception in the church hall of the Holy Trinity Church, 2110 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, on Thursday, December 6, 2007. Over 1000 people attended this year's event.

    

Folllowing Holy Mass, attendees were treated to a short concert by visiting Croatian musicians Nina Kolber, soprano and Sanda Majurec Zanata, harpsichord.  After the concert, the church hall filled quickly and everyone enjoyed food and drinks of the season. Local folklore and tamburitza groups entertained the guests and the mixed choir (and Chamber member) Cro-Arte Chorale performed throughout the evening.
